Education in India, like in any other nation, is the primary pillar that could provide a strong ground to stand firm and certain in all the weathers of progress and crisis. Education is not a new concept in the Universe. The world has acquired its current status by learning from past experiences. It has always been a part of human lifestyle from scratch. Education in any form is to bring out better possibilities and comforts in human life along with revealing the truth prevails in the universe whether its origin or progression.
Gradually, education has changed its forms from being cited in form of tales to the learning from books. Earlier, in ancient times, tales were the medium to learn about something way unlike the present education. Experiences of the most revered teacher, scientists, philosophers, educationists, mathematicians etc are given a shape of books. Modern books, we read are published one. Book publishing has come up as most innovative manner to ply education, with the most comfort, from a teacher to a number of students. Book publishing has made plausible to have access of acquaintance from one place to another.
The words of Indian constitution, in the context of child education, conclude that, for the children of age group 6-14 year, it is mandatory to get elementary education. Making elementary
education a compulsion is, indeed, indispensable but the responsibilities do not end here. In fact, the compulsion of education itself is start of a whole new responsibility to look after needs of students for bestowal of proper education. And it also require assurance that the advantages of right of education is delivered to the children across the nation.
Having numerous schools and colleges, India takes pride of being third largest higher educational sphere around the world. This could only make a good records of academic institutions across the nation unless we have qualitative education to provide students. Nobody, at the present time, is unaware of the essentiality of education for nation building and weeding out of concerns and issues such as poverty, unemployment and other social backwardness.
Education is dependent on the two major aspects of educational sphere; skilled teachers and the books we read. Books assist education in a way no other educational tool can does. Present structure of Indian education system suggests the multi-tier i.e Pre- primary, Primary, secondary, senior secondary and higher education. As the learning requirements of the students in the different grades are way varied that require special attention in every stage. Through different grades education at each level get enhanced and modified. To fulfill such requirements, books must be provided in a manner that could efficaciously edify children.
Education plays significant role in every aspect of nation building whether it is through culturally, economically or socially. Education has always set higher goals for development. Henceforth, it becomes most prior to develop apposite environment for education through qualitative books that are capable of delivering acquaintances in better way.
